re: Rochelle Foods, Hormel Corporation http://rochellefoodsbadworkplace.blogspot.com/
Dear Scott,
Being 55 years old, and "NEVER" having filed for "ANY" government subsidy during my life, I am put off by my denial of unemployment benefits. Especially after having sought employment for 2 months before I filed. I do not want a government tit to suckle but I also do not wish to lose my home because management at Rochelle Foods refuses to address the "rampant cancer" that runs amuck within Maintenance and Production at the Rochelle Foods, Hormel Corporation facility.
Day after day, while at Rochelle Foods, I gave and never asked. Now I ask for a little help to get on my feet while I job search and the company kicks me in the teeth. Hell, I am even willing to pay you back after I get a job.
That said, I am taking this to the people. Visit the beginning of my new BLOG at http://rochellefoodsbadworkplace.blogspot.com/. I have a 4 year degree in literature with a 2.5 average out of 3.0. I might as well put it to use.
You have always been kind to me and I know that you are shackled by policy. I like and respect you and that is why I must ask you to not take this personally.
Having been a webmaster at more than a few successful websites I am very adept at raising a sites ranking in all of the listed search engines especially made easy by my unemployment. Though currently looking for employment I am unemployed. Which means I have time, much time, to blog and blog and blog, and insure that my blog rises to a high ranking within the search engines.
Please take note of the number of times I used the phrase "Rochelle Foods" in my blog. Now ask the Hormel webmaster why I did this. Repetition within a web page increases the pages ranking and thus insuring that all who search for Rochelle Foods will find access to my blog at http://rochellefoodsbadworkplace.blogspot.com/. I want the world to know about the horrendous labor/management situation that exists at Rochelle Foods, Hormel Corporation and what one's company loyalty will bring one when down. And yes, this email will be added to my blog at http://rochellefoodsbadworkplace.blogspot.com/.
Remember when I went against the Union to get the Maintenance raise and thus saving the company expense of a grievance hearing resulting in a possible Rochelle Foods, Hormel Corporation savings of $25,000.00 a year? Remember when I told you I would make it my life's passion if we did not get the raise? Well it seems I now have a new passion as seen at http://rochellefoodsbadworkplace.blogspot.com/.
The part that truly burns me is "EVERY ONE" at Rochelle Foods, Hormel Corporation possesses the knowledge of the prevailing problem but chooses to stick their collective heads in the sand and hope "HE" goes away. Well he is not going away and I am going to do my part to insure that he becomes an eternal part of Rochelle Foods, Hormel Corporation's history. True it will only be 15 minutes but a 15 minutes that will not go away because http://rochellefoodsbadworkplace.blogspot.com/ will keep replaying the 15 minutes.
Being a man who "knows" the Bible I would like to call "HIM" John and myself Pilate but a silver platter is to good for "HIS" head. Instead, I would respectfully request that all of Rochelle Foods, Hormel Corporation think of me as a common little man, with a slingshot at http://rochellefoodsbadworkplace.blogspot.com/, who goes by the name of David.
I probably have 15 to 20 years left in this world.
Life is good!!!

Rochelle Foods "NOT A GOOD PLACE TO WORK"

I hired on as an apprentice mechanic at Rochelle Foods, Hormel Corporation in Rochelle, Illinois on August 11, 2006. The following is my personal experience while employed at Rochelle Foods, Hormel Corporation during this period.

As I am able, I will publish other's experiences during their tenure with Rochelle Foods.

My intention is, not to hurt Hormel but, to forewarn all who may be considering a career at this facility.

Hormel is a good place to work but, as this Blog will reveal, the Rochelle Foods subsidiary of Hormel Corporation does not fall under the umbrella of a "GOOD PLACE TO WORK".

Read this blog before you apply for employment at Rochelle Foods, Rochelle, Illinois. Then make an informed decision as to whether or not you wish to follow a career with this subsidiary of Hormel Corporation.

Simply put, I BLOG, you decide.
